Clove quality depends on the timing of the harvest and the precision of the drying cycle. Our process emphasizes the preservation of the "bud head" and essential oils:

  1. Maturity-Based Sourcing: We source cloves at the exact moment they transition from green to slightly pink, ensuring the highest concentration of Eugenol before the flower opens.
  2. Mechanical Cleaning & De-Steming: Raw cloves pass through sifting and aspiration systems to remove "Clove Stems" and "Mother Cloves," ensuring a high head-to-body ratio.
  3. Hygienic Sun-Drying: The buds are dried on elevated platforms under controlled conditions to reach a stable 10% to 12% moisture level. This prevents "fermentation" and preserves the characteristic dark brown luster.
  4. Density Sorting: Using gravity separators, we remove "khoker" (immature/light) cloves, ensuring that every shipment has the high bulk density required for industrial grinding.
  5. Aroma-Preserved Grinding: For our clove powder, we utilize cool-grinding technology to prevent the heat-sensitive oils from evaporating, maintaining the spice’s natural "bite" and fragrance.
